These Terms & Conditions govern the SMS (text message) program operated by Firsthand Heating & Air Conditioning ("Firsthand," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to the terms below.
When you provide your mobile number and opt in, Firsthand may send you text messages related to your service requests and account. This includes appointment confirmations and reminders, dispatch and technician-arrival updates, quote and estimate follow-ups, service and maintenance notices, financing information you request, review requests after a completed job, and responses to questions you send us.
You opt in when you submit our online "Get a free estimate" form and check or acknowledge the consent notice, when you text our business line first, or when you verbally provide your number and agree to be texted during a call. We only message numbers we have consent for.
Message frequency varies based on your service activity and communication preferences. You may receive messages when you have an active request, appointment, or open quote.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Firsthand is not responsible for these charges. Check with your carrier for details on your text or data plan.
You can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation and then stop sending texts, unless you opt in again. You may continue to reach us by phone.
For help, reply HELP to any message, call us at (561) 559-5434, or email service@firsthandhvac.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
Your privacy matters to us. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information obtained through the SMS program is used solely to operate and support the program. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Our SMS program is operated in accordance with applicable law and industry standards, including CTIA guidelines and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). By opting in, you agree to use the program in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
